We were getting disheartened after failing to collect a urine sample from Karin after she was given medication for cystitis, but we just managed to collect one just now!
When I went into the toilet, he became wary and ran away when I approached him, but as advised by a follower, once he started to urinate he couldn't move until he finished, so I approached him in the middle of urinating and inserted the Nyampling (he didn't resist even though I was directly in front of him) and I was able to remove it safely!
However, the hospital is closed on Sunday afternoons. As it was just after the clinic hours had ended, I contacted them without any hope of success, but they said that the staff was still in the clinic and they were able to take the cat and do the test. The results will be available later, and payment will be charged separately as it is treated as an after-hours treatment, but there is nothing I can do about it since my cat won't pee during clinic hours. (bitter laugh)
